Hospitality major Eraaya Lifespaces is planning to onboard Ebix Inc. CEO Robin Raina on Eraaya’s Board of Directors. The company said that a decision in this regard will be taken during the meeting of the board of directors of the company that is scheduled to be held on June 29, 2024.
Earlier, the company announced a plan support agreement to acquire a 100 per cent stake in Ebix Inc. According to the company, this plan has been approved by the independent director of Ebix Inc.
Meanwhile, the company is trying to tap the booming leisure tourism market. It has invested Rs 500 million in fresh acquisitions.
Out of Rs 500 million, the company has invested Rs 30 million in the acquisition of a luxury Staycation property at Lonavala – a popular destination for weekend getaways and leisure trips – and the remaining Rs 470 million for the acquisition of commercial retail spaces in the largest mall located near the International Airport at Mohali, the satellite city of Chandigarh.
