Nothing’s sub-brand CMF has announced that the release of its first smartphone, titled the CMF Phone will take place on July 8 in India and the launch of CMF Buds Pro 2 and CMF Watch Pro 2 will also accompany the unveiling of CMF Phone 1.
The company has been steadily giving several glimpses of design elements and other features of the CMF Phone 1, generating major interest among tech buffs. An official post on social media has shown the layout of the rear camera module of the smartphone. As per the report, the smartphone will consist of a dual rear camera system contained within a vertical, pill-shaped module positioned at the top left side of the back panel. Each of the two sensors is located in distinct circular units organized vertically within this module. The camera segment is faintly elevated and different in colour from the phone’s body.
The primary camera of the CMF Phone 1 will have a 50-megapixel Sony sensor with an f/1.8 lens. The device will also provide Ultra XDR, improving the quality of captured pictures. Earlier leaks indicate that the flagship phone might feature a detachable back plate, possibly providing easy repair, and access to the battery and other core modules. The official social media posts show that the CMF Phone 1 will be packed with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a strong 5,000mAh battery, offering up to 22 hours of nonstop YouTube streaming.
The CMF Phone 1 will be supported by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G processor and will have 8GB of RAM and another 8 GB of virtually expandable storage. The phone will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, and a top brightness of 2,000 nits. The selfie camera of the smartphone is expected to have a 16-megapixel sensor. The phone is expected to have an IP52-rated build specifying reasonable safety against dust and water. The CMF Phone 1 is supposed to fall under a reasonable price bracket and might cost below Rs 20,000 and will be up for grabs on Flipkart. Considering its budget-friendly cost, advanced features, and encouraging specifications, the CMF Phone 1 is expected to make a strong debut in the Indian smartphone market.
