WATCH: Rashid Khan throws bat in anger after Karim Janat denies second run during AFG vs BAN match

A moment from game 52 of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 has been going viral. The clash between Afghanistan and Bangladesh took place at the Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown, St. Vincent, on Tuesday, June 25, and the game began with the in-form Afghanistan coming in to bat first.

However, a moment involving Karim Janat and Rashid Khan from the 20th over of the first innings has caught the eye of the fans and social media. Tanzim Hasan Sakib came out to bowl the final over of the first innings, and on the third delivery, Rashid Khan got the leading edge, and as the ball was dropped in the off side, Rashid and Janat ran between the wickets.

However, as the Afghan skipper started running for the second run, it was denied by his partner, Janat. This saw Rashid Khan let out a furious reaction as he threw his bat towards his batting partner and even turned his back against him after the delivery.

“Karim Janat cops it from his skipper!” the ICC captioned the post as they showcased the moment on Instagram.
