Opinion is different from news reporting.
Editor’s Opinion is a dedicated category of Doonited India.
Articles published in this section may express viewpoints, interpretation, criticism or editorial judgment concerning social, political, economic, cultural and public-interest issues.
Such content should be clearly identifiable as opinion or analysis.
The existence of an opinion does not mean that every statement within it is a fact. Factual claims should still be treated responsibly and supported where appropriate.
Doonited India may express a strong editorial position, but disagreement should not be presented as evidence of wrongdoing. Criticism should be based on facts and reasoned argument rather than personal attacks.
No Artificial Angles
Relevance should be genuine.
Doonited India will not manufacture an Indian connection to an international story simply to make it appear more relevant.
Similarly, we will not exaggerate the significance of a development merely to create a stronger headline.
When a subject has genuine relevance to Indian readers, our journalism should explain that connection clearly.

- The sender should have the necessary authority or rights to provide it.
Photographs, Video & AI-Generated Material
Visual Integrity
Visual material should be presented honestly. Doonited India will seek to avoid manipulating photographs or videos in a way that materially changes their meaning.
AI-Generated Visuals
Where an illustration, representation or AI-generated visual is used in an editorial context and its nature could reasonably confuse readers, appropriate identification should be considered.
No false impression
Visual presentation should never deliberately create a false impression about an event or person.
Corrections & Updates
Despite reasonable editorial care, mistakes can occur.
Correction is responsible journalism.
When a significant factual error is identified and verified, Doonited India may correct or update the relevant material.
Corrections should not be viewed as a weakness in journalism. Correcting an error is part of responsible journalism.
Readers identifying a possible error are encouraged to provide:

Right of Reply
