JSW Motors’ upcoming SUV, expected to be called the JSW Combat, could make its India debut during the 2026 festive season. Based on the rugged Jetour T2 from Chinese automaker Chery, the SUV is expected to bring distinctive styling and plug-in hybrid technology to India’s premium SUV market.
While an exact launch date has not been officially confirmed, media reports have pointed to a late-2026 debut, potentially around the festive period. The expected ex-showroom price is estimated at ₹30 lakh to ₹50 lakh, although the final price and variant details remain undisclosed.
Jetour T2-inspired design
The JSW Combat is expected to retain much of the Jetour T2’s upright, boxy design. Its rugged appearance includes a tall stance, chunky bumpers, squared-off styling elements and a tailgate-mounted spare-wheel design.
The styling is aimed at buyers looking for an SUV with a strong road presence and an adventure-oriented character. However, the India-spec model’s final design and equipment will only be confirmed closer to launch.
