The facelift will continue to face the Hyundai Verna and Honda City, while the Skoda Slavia remains a close relative within the same broad market. Each model offers a different balance of styling, equipment, powertrain choices and ownership considerations.
A refreshed Virtus could give Volkswagen a timely reason to bring sedan shoppers back to its showrooms. Yet a new grille and larger screen alone cannot settle the decision. Buyers should also assess rear-seat comfort, ride quality on broken roads, service access, warranty coverage and the cost of routine maintenance.
The sedan’s long-term appeal will depend on how well the complete ownership experience matches its driving and design strengths. That is especially relevant for buyers keeping a car for many years, rather than changing it after the first few festive seasons.
